new director

What do you guys think about them changing directors for New Moon. Do you think he will portray the book well or do good with the story at all. If you didn't know about them changing the directors go to stephaniemeyer.com and look at the letter he wrote to the fans and tell me what you think. : )

I am open to it... doesn't mean I think he will do a good job but then again, New Moon is in theory easier to do than Twilight was. There is a lot of leeway with Bella and Jake's section of the book... it will really just depend on how he portrays the beginning and the end parts of it. I think even the first director coulda done good with it... or... maybe not.... =)

yea. the scene i can't wait for is when he is about to walk out into the sun and reveal himself in Italy. im so excited for that scene.

Haha maybe, but as anticlimatical as that scene really turned out in the book I wouldn't at all be shocked if it was a scene they changed to make it more movie appealing. I mean, they didn't even keep the meadow scene hardly at all the same in the first movie and that was a huge part of the book.... nor did they keep the ballet studio scene totally the same as the book and it was written very well to go straight onto the big screen. But, that also is more the writer's necessarily than the director.... So... =) But, yes, that scene and then after Alice, Edward and Bella leave from Aro and are waiting with Gianna and Bella is having a the hysterics- they better leave in Alice's line about slapping her!
