If I didn’t explain it well, I apologize. The plot we have started is taking place just over a year after the close of Breaking Dawn, and about a month after the Calumny overthrew the Volturi. It took time for the Calumny to plan their attack, and cover all their bases. They then had to clean up the mess and tie up loose ends, plus Jane had to get into their good graces enough ...
